This lesson is based on the idea that you will understand how flash works best by relating it to something you are familiar with - Microsoft PowerPoint.

You will get Flash to pretend to be PowerPoint and then (hopefully) show that it does it better.

 
     
 

The lesson should take around 30 minutes and will produce something like the movie below.

 
     
 
 
     
 

Work with Flash open and maximised. Keep switching between the application and these instructions using the taskbar.

Don't forget to save your flash working document (called a .fla file) frequently in a working folder that you can find!
